The 2012 CSUEB Winter Gala Concerts
Sponsoring the Alameda County Community Food Bank
***Unsold Tickets for the 4p and 7p Show will be Available at the Door***
On Saturday, December 8 at 4 p.m. and again at 7 p.m., all are invited to hear wonderful music performed by the Cal State University East Bay choirs, the Eden United Church of Christ choir, and Hillsdale High School chamber singers in two concerts that benefit the Alameda County Community Food Bank. Our concerts present a modern music favorite, Daniel Pinkham’s Christmas Cantata, featuring Eden Church organist, Heather Paisar, and a professional brass quartet. Tickets are $15 and are not refundable. Proceeds from these concerts will help support the Alameda County Community Food Bank.
Learn how the Alameda County Community Food Bank and their member agencies are working to ensure that everyone has access to fresh, healthy food by going to their website: www.accfb.org The Food Bank will be providing a collection barrel in the lobby of the concert to receive any canned goods you may wish to contribute at that time.
Tickets are only available from ticketbud.com where you can purchase and print your own tickets at home using your credit card or Paypal account, all at no additional charge to you. Should there be any unsold tickets left on the day of the concerts they will be sold at the door. These performances often experience a sellout so we encourage you to purchase your ticket soon!
Once you have purchased your tickets, if you would like to donate one or more to a student so that they may attend the concert at no charge, please contact Scott Swanson who is collecting paid tickets for that purpose at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Parking is limited at the concert location so carpooling is recommended. Also, sufficient time before each concert should be allotted so that you can park and arrive at the concert before the scheduled beginning. Overflow parking is available at a parking lot located at 1435 Grove Way, 200 feet East of the intersection of Grove Way and Foothill Blvd., on the right hand side of Grove Way across the street from the Union 76 gas station. The overflow lot is 0.3 miles from the church. There is no parking permitted along Foothill Boulevard. The California Highway Patrol will be providing traffic control.
